julado Posted October 14, 2007 Share Posted October 14, 2007 Unfortunately there are people on this thread who are arguing for argument's sake....why? because they do that on every thread they visit......these people would argue that black is white and with a bit of luck they will get knocked down on the next zebra crossing (this concept is thanks to Douglas Adams).....what is it that makes them so argumentative.....live and let live and celebrate the diversity that the world has to offer them. For the same reason that you might not want somebody with really bad body odour or scruffy appearance to be forced upon you - the right an employer should have to choose the kind of people they want to work with. We have to spend a quarter of our lives with our work colleagues - an employer should at least have the choice to employ people they like, and not be forced to take on people they dislike simply because of asinine positive discrimination laws.
