Not all paedophiles look dodgy and not all 'dodgy' looking people are paedophiles. I wouldn't particularly let my children play there but I have no issues with those that do as long as they know where there little ones are at all times, but that should be the case where ever you go.

I Used to work in a nursery, the cleaners were convinced the place was haunted, the nursery had someone come in to 'move the spirits on' and 'bless the nursery'. I Left not long after that so I'm not sure if the cleaners ever met the spirits again.

I think the reason is like you not many people wonder down there unless they are using it as a short cut. The rent is unjustified as they will be paying city centre rates but not getting the passer bys. I can't say I have ever made a special effort to walk down there as when I have passed the only thing half interesting is the birds yard and I don't think it's a patch on the nicolas building down shalesmoor.

Yep all super markets say it if you listen, I have worked at Tesco and Asda and it means iiiiitttts tidy up time. It usually after or busy periods in the day like after the school run or just before 5pm and is usually section leaders, managers or shop floor staff.

I used to run a school holiday Club and we took over 4's a few times even some of those were a bit frightened at the start. To be honest I don't think such a young one will benefit from going although it is a fantastic place to visit when they are a bit older. I would suggest as someone said eureka or cannon hall farm. MY little boy is a similar age I can not wait until he is old enough to go, the water area is sooo much fun

The people that stand around with signs actually do a lot more than that. They are responsible for making sure that the checkouts run smoothly, they deal with complaints, price errors, who and where the checkout staff are. They also run up and down the store replacing items that need replacing ie broken packets or things customers forget, they also take all the things back that people dump when they decide they don't want it any more. They are fab and people think they just 'hold up a sign'

Hi, I am looking for a regular mobile hairdresser in S13. I currently have very light blonde hair but I now want something more natural with high lights and low lights. It is just below the shoulder and I wanting cutting quite short.Does anybody know of a good mobile hairdresser that works in S13.

No not the blood shot eyes, nobody mentioned the blood shot eyes until the third visit they were not mentioned in any notes, but the traumatic birth was written down on notes. Mainly because I had an infection so I needed after surgery care. At least for me social care did not contact me although this was 2 years ago so this has not improved.

The same happen to us. My little one had a traumatic birth though, he also had is cord wrapped around his neck, I had to have a c-section in the end they caught him with a scalpel on his face he had to have butterfly stitches on his head. I was just so thankful that my little man was ok. We went home and had the usual 3 visits from the midwife, on the 3rd visit his blood shot eye was mentioned but he had them all along. She told me that it could be a sign that he had been shook and asked me all sorts of questions. In the end she read his notes on his birth (she seemed to believe that the blood shot eyes matched his traumatic birth(he really was all bruised and looked like a little boxer)) and added that she had spotted his eyes in his red book. Other than having to have a couple of extra visits to 'keep an eye out' nothing came of it. But it was very stressful and was Jessops fault that they had not recorded it in the first place. I have worked with children since I left school and have been a safe guarding officer at a nursery for over 5 years, and to feel like I was being accused was heart breaking. Number 2 is on its way now and this time I will request every thing is wrote on that book before I leave that hospital.

I am glad that you are 'NOT accusing' me of doing this for the ''bed room tax issue, I own my own house so it does not effect me any how. A foster parent is classed as earning a wage, so I imagine foster parents will not get housing benefits any how (don't quote me on this I have never been on any benefits.) Fostering is a difficult 24/7 job and I doubt that you will find many that will be successful in foster caring if they are that are doing it just for the money and not for the Children. As for adopting to avoid paying bed room tax don't be ridiculous surely a new child in the family will cost more than saving a few measly pounds on bedroom tax, remember adopted children become part of the family, families are not paid to adopt.

Leeman came to sort my boiler out after having problems with it for over a year (we kept making do because we were scared it would cost a fortune) I gave him a call in the morning and by tea time I had proper hot water for the first time in ages and it was at a good price, thanks Leeman, the dog did not enjoy her bath though

I think that it is a great idea, I have used it a couple of times. It saves a fortune next to getting a taxi.

Hi I am looking for a plumber for my boiler I would want a quote before any work went ahead. We have been having problems for a while, the heating works fine but our problem is with the water, we have had to put the heating to have hot water for a while but the last few week we have had only cool water either way heating on or off, sometimes we have water that is slightly walmer but these occations are getting less and less and cold showers are not fun, I have been told it maybe a problem with the vaulve. Thank god for that I am so pleased, I was there when it happened but I had my baby in his push chair so there was nothing I could do to help and it is certainly no help crowding the poor man, so I had to just stand well back and hope he was ok, It played on my mind all day.

I am just wanting a little advise or info from any one that has fostered or been fostered what in your experience is the best company to foster with? I have read up and visited some open evenings but they all seem similar. I know that private fostering is the best pay but that is not the most important reason for going with a particular company. I already know that foster company's are interested and they all seem to think that I am very suitable to foster as I have a steady home and lots of experience of working with different children. Thank you for any info or advise you have.

Thanks for the support I had the scan and Thursday and the mid wives where wrong (what a surprise ) the baby is the facing the right way down. What really amazes me is the student consultant that was in on the appointment was asked to check the babies position, he took one look at my stomach whilst laid down and guessed the position my baby was in straight away by just by looking, he then had a good feel and confirmed his guess, when they scanned me he was exactly right! I really have had my faith in Jessops restored! The consultant gave me more information in one appointment than I have had for months I am so happy that things are looking normal and am just looking forward to my little one making an appearance.

To put a long story short at 37 weeks a midwife (not my own I haven't seen her since 33 weeks) spotted that my baby may be breech and booked me in for an appointment for a presentation scan a week later. I have since had a anti natal check up at the local drop in and the baby is still breech and my scan is tomorrow. I haven't been given any information on what to expect and was wondering if any one has had a breech baby at Jessops? Or have had a presentation scan at nearly 39 weeks and knows what I have to expect. I am scared and nervous but mainly because I have not been told any thing. I am usually the laid back type that goes with the flo but when it comes to my baby I start to worry, this is my first baby.
