Oh well, at least it will be better than it just going to rack and ruin. The students will have to be fit though to walk up that hill every day, its a killer, or is it just because i'm getting old?

Does anyone know what is happening with Heeley Bank School? I noticed today there is scaffolding up and lots of rubbish being cleared away. It would be lovely to see it put to good use again, perhaps something along the lines of what Anns Rd School has done.

Hi, My neighbour was burgled last Monday afternoon, we live just on the road from Heeley city farm. I'm not sure how to pm you, could u let me know and I can tell you what was taken.

Been in a few times now on a Saturday night and really enjoyed it. My other half loves the different ales and I am working my way through the lagers. My only complaint is the noise, I think its because its all wood everywhere and the noise seems to be deafening sometimes, apart from that, i love it.

Last week the house across the road from us had an Acer tree and a Corderline ripped out of their front garden. They obviously couldn't carry them both as the Corderline was tossed on the road. What goes on in these scum bags heads? Are they jealous or something that someones house looks nicer than their hovel? Disgusting!!!

My dad worked there all his life until he retired. He was a crane driver, his name was Stan Dronfield. Sadly he passed away in 1991.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to grow successful rhubarb? I have bought 2 or 3 plants but have never had any real success with them, they just seem to rot in the ground and if I do get any its really thin and straggly, where am i going wrong?

Yes I'm surprised more people haven't made a fuss. Unfortunately I am one of the ones that will miss out as I am due to get my pension in January next year. Its just so unfair that there are 2 different rates, everyone should get the same regardless of their age.

I knew a family that emigrated in the 1960's to Oz, not sure if it was perth or not but I would love to know what happened to them. Their name was Riley and they lived at Stannington, I think Kath was the 1st to go followed by her sister Linda and then Maureen, Maureen did come back and lived at malin bridge I believe, I dont know what happened to her after that. I am just curious to know if they all made a life out there or if they ever returned to Sheffield.

I paid by debit card and the bank has said they cant get the money back for me, they can only put a block on them not taking any more money out. I dont even have and email address or an address I can send the good back to, they came with no covering letter or invoice.

Hi, I wonder if any can help me. I think I may have been the victim of a scam. I answered an advert on facebook about diet supplements called rasberry ketone and the advert stated that for £4.95 you could have a trial sample. I sent for them and the samples came. Now £95 has gone out of my bank account. I have contacted my bank and they have said that they have had lots of complaints about this company. Apparently in the very very small print it says that after 14 days if you don't cancel they are entitled to take the said monies. The bank can only stop any more money going out, they cant get my money back. Before you all start shouting out there how stupid I was, I already know that so only helpful replies please. I have tried a telephone number but of course there is no answer and I cant find a website either. Apparently its a US company and now I have typed the name in to google there are lots of people complaining about the company but not much in the way of advice of how to get my money back. Any help gratefully received.

I too have received this email but the worst thing is I have actually posted 2 parcels abroad as my family live away. Luckily it wouldn't let me open the , attachment, so no harm done I hope. Nearly had me fooled though, it looked so genuine.

In my case its always the top half of my body, mostly my head and neck. I am sat typing this with a towel round my neck and the windows wide open, but nothing helps really, I just have to live with it.

I too suffer from Hyperhidrosis mainly around my head, hair and neck area. It makes my life hell most of the time because no sooner have I stepped out of the shower and get dressed, my hair is soaking wet again. I can never keep a hairstyle in for long and its a waste of money going to the hairdressers as 30 mins after a blow dry its wet through again. I sympathise with your daughter, its a horrible thing to have to live with. Up to now I haven't found anything that helps, if anyone has I would love to hear from them.

I know they are a real nuisance at the moment, apart from running round the garden with the fly spray, I dont know what else to do.

Has anyone noticed how many flies there are around at the moment? I know its summer and quite warm, but there seems to be a lot more than normal. I left a plate outside for a few minutes after my lunch and when I returned it was literally covered in hundreds of the blighters. Also as I was walking down the road there seemed to be swarms of them everywhere, horrible dirty germ spreading things.
