Hi Hanstos. Your granfathers name was George Henstock I knew in well ,and I must say he was as mad as a march hare. I once saw him walk through the forge in his underpants and that is not a lie. He even Headed a housebrick. He was wednesdayite and I was blade. He was a good dart thrower as well. -
I hate to be pedantic but I am positive the name f the "Monkey" pub on darnall hill was called " Ye old cricket grounds"

I've noticed no-one has mentioned Mr Wild,Mr Dixon,Mr Lee Mr Cooke, Mr Wingfield. I was at Coleridge Road a little after you guy's I was there when it closed. I also used to go to the youth club and played football, Cricket, Table tennis for them (alongside ex Sheff United player )Ray Mchale -

I gave a bicycle to someone who said that their own bike had been stolen. A week later I found out that he had sold it for ten pounds ( it cost a lot more ) but I realise that there are people worse off than me. My message is ,if you don't want or need an article, get shut Its out of your hair

I went to Coleridge Road School I turned the lights out when it closed ( kidding ) went on to Park House which wasn't a patch on Coleridge. I know all mentioned and many more as I used to deliver papers down Stovin and March Street.
