These wannabe F1 drivers are a menace, we have the same problem around Chapeltown/High Green. They are working on the Streets Ahead contract and seem to have no regard for speed limits or for the weight limit on Burncross Road. They use Burncross Road even when they are not working on or adjacent to it. It used to be the case that transport manager of the company should check their tacograph record on a regular basis thus highlighting speeding and other infringments. Either this is no longer done or the manager/drivers don`t care about the law:rant:

They also seem to have more inteligent and astute persons running and planning their transport systems, unlike the pathetic amatures in charge of Sheffield/South Yorkshire/Sheffield City Region

If you were at the bottom of Walkley Lane ,having gone over the narrow bridge, it is a left turn ONLY towards Malin Bridge ( unless you are driving a taxi/private hire vehicle then you ignore it). However if you were at the bottom of Ripley Street opp Barracks you CAN turn left 11am to 3pm weekdays. Large sign on your left before this junction shows restrition times.

If the same "rules"" as a few years ago are still in place, if the puke is inside a bus shelter it is not council/amey`s problem to clean it up. It is down to SYPTE contractors to clean it. Texaco garage staff must shoulder some of the blame for selling alcohol and fags to teenagers who are obviously underage. Either staff don`t carry out correct checks or they can`t be ar**d to bother trying.

You usually find this type of traffic light system on fast stretches of road so as to give a view of the lights from a greater distance and to make them more noticeable due to being more of them.
