Why dont some of you lot go to Skeggy ?? It would make you feel superior, you could look down at all the 'chavs' and revel in being 'better than them'.[in your own opinion, that is]. I can enjoy most places, this year its gonna be Spain [Andalucia] March, May, September and again next March plus a 'doggy' holiday around Flamborough/Whitby in August. If anyone wants to provide me with a freebee in Skeg as well I'm sure I could fit it in.

I never had probs with Talk Talk until last week. As I stated in my earlier post My home page,MSN, was causing probs. Too much rubbish on it, ads I didnt want, making me wait until all crap had loaded before I could access my email. Talk Talk WAS crap last week but now seems to be sorted.

My home page [MSN] loads very slowly. It freezes due to "long running script". It makes accessing my e-mail awkward, so I go another way via 'favourites'. I log onto Firefox and all is OK. I thought it was all the crap the MSN page tries to bombard you with that was causing all the probs. I'll give them a bit longer and then switch provider.

Photography for Beginners is a good basic magazine. Its informative and full of ideas. Mixing with other photographers via a club or society is also a good idea. I have been taking photographs for a few years and still consider myself a beginner. Just go out there, take loads of shots, try different things but most importantly, enjoy it.

IDS is well aware how much he was claiming for his breakfast. He was also well aware how much the cost was in relation to a disabled persons benefits. IDS dosent give a monkeys about the disabled or anyone else for that matter. To him, IDS is the most deserving and most important creature in the world. Perhaps one day IDS will have health problems himself, NOTHING TRIVIAL I HOPE and his attitude to money will change. Money suddenly loses its importance in the face of something terminal. If ever anyone deserved bad luck then it is IDS. In the meantime he will carry on being your typical Tory and treating everyone else like pond life......................because we allow him to.

Shushhhh Dont tell anybody. Most people think the migrant workers 'just appeared' as if from nowhere. British companies started recruiting in Poland, Latvia, Slovakia etc, even arranging transport and finding accomodation for them. I remember this going on as early as 2004 by blue chip companys such as M+S and Next. The migrants were put to work in warehousing and distribution. It was a carefully planned operation. It has resulted in increased profits for the companys concerned BUT the huge numbers of migrants has overloaded our infrastructure. The taxpayer is now picking up the tab. Now we have low paid British workers, 'nowt in their pockets. We have migrants sending money 'home' to family, hence the High Street shops are struggling.......................and the government dosent know which way to turn. We are not heading for inflation but DEFLATION.........and that would be catastrophic. Get it sorted Mr Cameron, thats what WE pay YOU for.

I like SkegVegas for what it is.......a bit chavvy. Blackpools the same but more sleazy. They can both provide me with entertainment just peoplewatching. I go to Spain as often as I can, to places where most Brits DONT go, thats where I chill out and enjoy the more or less permanent sunshine and the quiet scenery. I can enjoy almost anywhere [in moderation] Skeggy is OK for the odd day and thats about it. Best places locally for me are Whitby, Flamborough and Filey...............but each to his own.

'Going it alone' very rarely works.........we found that out many years ago. It's 'uncool' to be a union member these days so the leadership have all but given up. Divide and rule.......the old Tory trick, turning man against man. We fall for it every time............[some of us,that is]

If the ordinary guy, the 'plebs', students, black, white, whatever, stood up to the Torys and defended themselves we would be in a better position than we are now. Trade Unions are now little more than useless, they have neither balls nor backbone. Leadership is required...........desperately.

IDS is a horrible individual, he seems to hate the unemployed, the disabled, the pensioners, in fact anyone who needs a helping hand. He is just one more of Camerons army of 'Detestables', a group of individuals who claim to be capable of running a country but in reality are capable of little else exept doing as Feuhrer Cameron tells them. What the hell would IDS do if the Torys threw him out ?? He isn't capable of doing anything else. The only proper job he ever had was for his father-in-law. He has an undistinguished military record as well. The Sun readers and a lot of SF members fall for his lies.............as would most right wing 'plebs'.

I had a plasterer in a few months ago. He was recommended by someone, but again, only had a mobile number. He did the job, moaning all the time. Even said his trowel was no good for part of the job. I paid him what he asked as his work was 'adequate' and he offered to do me another room. I accepted and never saw him again. I rang him and rang him, getting LOADS of excuses. He peed me off and put me off builders for life. I have a few jobs need doing but cant stand all the grief. Beware the mobile number only guys, they are usually lazy, crap or both.

Gay marriage is two people making a commitment to each other. A gay wedding in Church is just two people making the same commitment but asking for Gods blessing. Whats wrong with that ?? Only one question, if a gay person, married already in a gay marriage, marries someone else, is it bigamy ?? Would it be punishable by law ??, or is it just a contractual issue ??

Good sensible post, its what the BMA intended to get across. E-cigs are for smokers looking for a safer alternative and not to encourage people to start smoking. Now lets get onto ' street drinking' and drinking outside pubs. Same thing, encourages the young to take up a bad habit. Drinking should be done inside pubs and peoples homes and not in parks or streets. Smoking or vaping should not be encouraged and neither should drinking. All the BMA are asking for is a little commonsense.

I have read loads on the net about 'vaping'. There is no credible argument against it. I no longer smoke but have had a few puffs on an e-Lite and its pretty realistic. The tobacco industry aint gonna like it, its going to cost them millions. Health issues aside, its worth trying just based on the cost alone.

Stories were emerging from Russia in the 90's about human meat sold on the streets. Vagrants were vanishing.

Todays developments, tomorrows slums. City center living is risky...........its OK 'till you want to sell. Unsold flats are being let to students, homeless, assylum seekers. Just the neighbours you want. I dont say this in a snobby sort of way, it just makes them difficult to sell on.
