Why should young people have housing subsidised? I don't ask the government to buy me a Ferrari At the end of the day, I have a house with a wonderful view across the valleys and fields, which I enjoy. The last thing I want are a few thousand new houses blotting the landscape and spoiling my view ---------- Post added 17-05-2017 at 12:15 ---------- The current system is built around debt If you have less houses than there are people to buy then demand goes up, and so do prices If they built loads of new houses (say 1 million) then this would reduce supply/demand and the house prices would fall, which in modern topsy turvy Britain means a slump No government are going to encourage a slump

Why not get an ex player? Pearson? Waddle seems to know his stuff on Radio 5 live, so why not give him a try?

Dogs barking is becoming more and more of a problem, especially at night People simply send the dogs out at night onto the garden and the dog barks constantly because as a pack animal its not meant to be alone If people want an animal that they can simply send outside then why not just get a cat instead?

Last time we went up we had Hirst None of the current strikers would even be allowed to tie his shoelaces Maybe they will get past Huddersfield next week, but the performance did not inspire confidence I'm worried
-
Wednesday barely had any shots, that long range one around the 70th minute was the closest they got
-
Did you see the game today? Huddersfield had most of the possession and shots Both teams were rubbish, but Huddersfield were the better of both bad teams
-
Very boring game, Huddersfield had most of shots and possession Wednesday woeful, neither of these teams will get into Premiership and if they did they would be relegated by December, the whipping boys of the premiership Stay down for another season and try to improve
-
WHOA what the heck is this comment? Mate, you need to forget that Wednesday and United always leave it until the last minute to disappoint their fans Therefore to keep with tradition, Wednesday will get past Huddersfield in the next 2 legs And then lose by a controversial single goal in the final (although they were outplayed by Hull last year) There fore I predict 2-1 tomorrow and then 1-1 at Hillsborough Then a 1-0 defeat to Reading at Wembley

What if you like takeaways?

When you talk about a devided society we have the perfect example within this very city One could get on a bus near Millhouses park and be within beautiful surroundings if you sit on the bus for 5 minutes going out towards Dore/Whirlow Yet 5 minutes the other way and its a different story The devide within society all seen just be being on a bus for 10 minutes -

Because we have people using food banks And within the same city we have people driving Mercedes cars If someone has a spare £30,000 for a car then surely it would be better for society as a whole if that person with the Merc paid a little more in taxes to help the people using the food bank -

Nobody wins, unless everybody wins That's why I would raise taxes Share the wealth -
We won't be playing same team as last year, Hull have already been promoted

Huddersfield - Sheffield Wed Reading v Fulham Wins for Sheffield Wednesday and Reading over both legs Sheff Wed v Reading in final, hate to say this but I don't think we will get past Reading
-
Its not madness, Huddersfield lost 4-1 to Fulham and also lost to relegation threatened Birmingham Everyone thinks they are the weak link in the playoffs I think Wagner is pulling of a great psychological trick, and if it's Hudderfield that get to the premiership then Wagner has outthought all the other Managers in the playoffs
-
Sheffield is a tolerant city and so I guess many people will be voting labour All that Brexit little England silliness, not in Sheffield
-
I think they are testing the air raid siren If Putin launches a few nukes it's give people enough time to take cover, maybe hide under a table or something
-
Do what Huddersfield did, and lose 4-1 on purpose Everyone now thinks they are the weak link in the 4 playoff teams, so people will take them lightly
-
Going to be a 0-0 score Neither team needs to make any effort on Sunday If for some stupid reason one of the teams fields a star play (Forrestieri for Wednesday or Parker for Fulham) then that player is surely going to get all the fouls in the world aimed at them

I'm just saying people are not as rich as they think they are I bet I earn more money than many of the fellow coffee drinkers who were drinking alongside me last Saturday
-
It takes more than a Starbucks coffee bar to make an area high class People from the Ecclesall road area seem to forget this
-
Its nice to have a drinking place where one can mingle with Sheffield's high society One does not want to be mixing with the peasants from Hunters Bar, nor does one want to be drinking alongside anyone who earns less that £100,000 per annum
-
Play a weakened team and let Fulham beat us heavily at Hillsborogh Play for a 0 - 0 draw in the playoffs and win via penalty shootout And when we get to Wembly play a full strength team, the other 3 teams will look at us as the easy option and take us lightly Then send out the big guns at Wembly and that is our route to the Premiership

4- 1 against Huddersfield Hammered Barnsley at Oakwell Scott Parker, the ex England player Need I say more?
