  1. It strikes me as odd that they attribute death with such certainty with 'things' that would be difficult to impossible to prove in a litigation case yet seek proof absolute with others that stand to cost them money. If they are so certain maybe there is a case to answer for with non motorists.
  2. Have you tried him on Skinners only without the meat or will he not go for that. Is it possible that the food you mix in is causing the problem, or maybe one brand is?
  3. Not really lifetime cover for the dog then.
  4. If she still has cats it might go someway in explaining why they want a puppy.
  5. Odd that you may be risking more by using it.
  6. I tend to say thank you at the time the help is given anyway, I apprecate it so i'm sure they do.
  7. It still is sir but proving you've been turned down on those grounds will likely be difficult.
  8. That's what burglary is to get whatever they consider valuable. We were done twice, the second time hardly impacted at all but it was the feeling that someone could break into your home. After the first time it never felt like it was ours.
  9. Worse still is when a group of them sing-a-long
  10. We used to do it on trains when we were kids so I can't really point any fingers, and I use buses once a year on average and most are just as shabby on the outside so I wouldn't expect the inside to be clean. ---------- Post added 22-04-2013 at 11:06 ---------- You've just reminded me that I still have mine on, they're off now.
  11. I have a question. Can you be certain that they would get them if you didn't drop pesticides on their necks.
  12. Flea free for six years without using any product. They say that unhealthy skin caused by poor diet is an open invitation to flea infestation and simply changing can have significant positive effects all round.
  13. That's fine but I'm basing my judgement on equally qualified people and that includes vets, and lets not forget that the vet is basing his her judgement on the word of the pharmaceutical industry. If you spend your time being told something often enough you start believing it without question don't you. We're at an impasse Teeny which is ok i've enjoyed the debate.
  14. Which is why Thalidomide proved so successful. There's every reason to wonder if drugs are safe. If there was a one in one thousand chance that a drug might prove to be fatal when given to a child would you give the go ahead? You'd think bloody carefully about what to do and that would be based on all the background information given to you by your doctor, a luxury rarely afforded to your pets. Yet this ratio of success is deemed to be ok where animals are concerned. We're talking here about a drug that does kill cats, has killed dogs and you're still prepared to take vets at their word because they've studied long into the night and because the pharmaceutical industry is operating in OUR best interests. http://www.naturalnews.com/028686_Big_Pharma_corruption.html Like I said, it's not for me to convince you otherwise it's up to you to decide but it is reasonable to say that doubt has got people wondering.
  15. Yes and if car drivers could do it they would and that's likely what ticks them off. Did it all the time when I was younger, you'd have to have been a bit daft waiting when you didn't have to
  16. Well that's just dandy and i'm pleased for you both. I to had no qualms about taking my dog to the vet until it went wrong, now I question instead of nodding in agreement seeing as the animals I have mean more to me than they do to them. All i've said is that I have serious doubts about the drugs they so easily pass out and there is enough evidence to suggest that misgivings are warranted. I'm not attempting to persuade anyone to ignore the advice of their own particular vet i've only intimated that perhaps people should research some of the drugs they so openly offer their beloved pets.
  17. I think he's already explained that he takes his Barnsley refuse to Stocksbridge.
  18. It's under a great deal more scrutiny when used on that other animal, the human.
  19. He has a point, it's a mater of wheeling a bin to a wagon then watch while its lifted and emptied, slightly less effort than the lads at dump sites who watch while members of the public fill skips.
