I think that price halfords gave you is standard price what car is yours as some require extra bits and are a bit harder to replace stereos

You need a single din size stereo which you can get from places like argos,halfords etc and then it's just a case of remove old stereo and pop in new one

Your idea of more mileage per hour would only work if we are on the road early hours of morning /late at night as once we hit traffic etc it all goes to pot anyway

On the old analogue systems yes or a remote garage door opener did same trick. .not sure if it will work on digital taco equipped trucks and if you pull fuse out I'm told it puts vehicle in to limp mode but never tried that

I would not say no one uses it ,every time I go in it is busy so can't see them shutting that store -

I drive hgv,s for a living and a lot of wagons are now restricted by the owners to 52 and they have no plans to remove this restriction once this incresed speed limit comes in so it won't make much difference any way .

Was thinking of sticking each panel up then using a couple of screws to hold them in place while adhesive sets but might try screwing them up by screwing in to tongue and grove part of panel therefore hiding screws as don't want any screws to be seen once it's all done

You might be better off having it put on a diagnostic machine and see if it comes up with anything before you start throwing money at it -

Sheffield council no longer accept cheques for council tax. ,they just return them to you .mind you how much would it cost them to return if everyone did send payments by cheque . -
