sandwich course, put simply, in my experience doing a 3 year degree over 4 years with a year working. example 2 years studying, 1 year working then final year studying. i did a hnc in a different subject which back then, 5 years ago, counted as 1 year at uni or equivalent. so in some respects if you want a degree just do it without wasting time doing an HNC which, again in my experience, was very easy. why have you given up on plumbing?? i've never considered it but see adverts all the time...i'm guessing you were told 5 minutes studying and earning big money afterwards??

I'm content. Lost a bit of weight now that i do manual work and eating a bit better. Even though i'm generally quite slim with all the bumps in the right places...still single:hihi:

i've not done complaints training for a while but when there is a specified time limit then i think you can complain about that. i know that when someone complain to FSA it automatically costs the company £300odd pounds, but i might be out of date. Tell then your reporting them and then suddenly they will or should become more helpful. Admittedly i may be out of date by what i'm telling you and this is mainly aimed at mortgage complaints, but i believe its similar for insurance...

Agree and disagree - you only HEAR people moaning, not very often you hear people PRAISING. I do agree with what you are saying. think there is a stat along the line's that if someone has a complaint like a shop for example then they will tell 11 people. People whom receive a good service tell something like 4 other people - that's the point i was making.

Everybody moans about the NHS so it's nice to hear something positive:thumbsup: My old man has had loads of hassle with his heart and spent loads of time at NGH and is always looked after well. Hope you have a speedy recovery:thumbsup:

do i miss my ex?!?!?!? no bleeding way!!! lol we split up 2005 after 5 years and admittedly it was very hard to move on as we had a house that would not sell for 18 months, some of that time we lived together. Quite ironic reading about people splitting up and still living together in the sun today. she was my first love, as cheesy as that sounds, and she terminated the relationship saying she had not loved me for 2 years?!?!? suppose looking back she she was right because as soon as she finished uni as a mature student and i paid off her debts she decided to dump me. so looking back i guessed she loved my money and inheritance more than me!! quite ironic that within something like 10 months she was made bankrupt with debts of 21k:hihi: suppose i shouldnt laugh, but although i never realised it at the time she also took me away from my friends and family. they were always losers:roll: yeah, yeah, how little you know little miss never done anything with her life and never will!!! one of the worse things looking back in 2004 both my grandmothers and an uncle died. she would only accompany me to one funeral, some thin excuse for the others!! admittedly now again she does pop into my head:confused: dont really know why and i did send her a message through myspace in november wishing her happy birthday, to which she replied, told me how great her life as because, at 29 to be bankrupt and live with parents in some pointless admin earning low money is great...so i've been told!! oh and next year (2009) she's moving to america, just like that!! last time i spoke to her she was moving to africa!! so to emphasise, do i miss her?!?!?! nope!! not because of the money or anything. as ironic as this sounds i dont hate her or anything. the past is the past. i wasn't the saint i have just made out but believe me, from things i've mentioned and not mentioned, she got her own back and more!!!
