SheffieldForum 966 #1 Posted April 16 Pitcher and Piano on Holly Street (behind the City Hall) has announced that they have closed their doors for the last time… ☹️ A spokesperson said: "Thank you to all of our guests and team members past and present! It has been a great five years with you all". Apparently “The bar has been bought by another company. A new venue will be opening in the summer”. Mister M 1,639 #2 Posted April 16 Wow that is a surprise. It's not been open that long. We went in a couple of months ago and it was lovely.
 Share this content via...

GoldenAleLad 30 #5 Posted April 17 What a shame, surely it gets a high foot fall around there what with being close to West Street and the City Hall...
 Share this content via...

Basically one subsidiary brand converting into a different subsidiarity brand. Wonder if there has been some backroom dealing here "PIPER" the conglomerate that owns the P&P brand just very coincidentally happened to previously own the Turtle Bay brand right next door and also used to be an investor of the current conglomerate who owns the Cosy Club brand. Isn't life convenient sometimes. Edited April 17 by ECCOnoob
 Share this content via...

Was rather dark and quiet at lunchtimes whereas CC's are designed to be appealing as much at lunchtime as they are for the evening trade. Should do well there.
