Want To Move To Sheffield From South

Recommended Posts

Can't afford any house down south, wanted to move up North. I've never been there. I wanted to know if it is worth moving up there?

2 great Uni's

2 poor football teams

2 great bunches of football supporters

Decent housing/schools etc etc, dependant on where you go... which of course depends on how much is your budget

Budget? Have you got kids, need schools?

Sheffield is very reasonably priced compared to the south and has a variety of decent quality and friendly neighbourhoods.

Hope you like hills!

Very strong ale up here too. 😁   All are welcome, we're a friendly lot in Sheffield.

Do they have northern language courses down south?

Definitely.

Don't know why more people don't do it.

Remarkable range of housing from the £million plus, to very affordable doer uppers.

M1 runs from London to Sheffield so why not come up for a visit?

Depends what you are after. Leeds is better for jobs and variety of housing.
Newcastle towns are emptying so you can snap up a cheap house and the child to teacher ratio and grades are better.

Yes, the poster might hate Sheffield, I’d suggest spending a week here.
