Saw independent MP, (at least I think she's an independent at the moment but even she'd have a problem confirming her status, given the number of parties she's been in this year!), Heidi Allen being interviewed this morning on the BBC. 

 

Here's a new one from Ms Allen when being questioned by Stephen Sackur about how we should deal with the Brexit situation?  Ms Allen, staunch Remainer, reckons that the UK at best should have a 2nd referendum, if not just tear up Article 50.

 

Her response to the question that a democratic vote had taken place & the majority had spoken & that it was just MPs that had failed to deliver; 

 

"Well democracy does not just exist on one particular day but is ongoing."

 

That is Allen's basis for wanting a 2nd referendum?  Funnily enough, I'm guessing that should Allen get her way & a 2nd referendum returned a remain majority, democracy would have spoken & it would end on that day... period?  

 

On the other hand, should a 2nd referendum return a leave majority again, Ms Allen would tell us all to go away, think long & hard about what we've done & hopefully we'll get it right in a 3rd referendum?

Because the majority of voters who voted have already voted by a majority to leave and that result should be honoured first.

And that is how it should be otherwise it gives the impression that some members are more equal than others. Part of the grand plan of the EU for the future is to get all of its members to adopt the Euro and into the Eurozone, so if we stay in we may have to comply and accept the Euro anyway.

Its the usual eurosceptic project fear garbage, NOWHERE does it say must accept the euro, it says they must pass the 5 tests if they WANT to adopt it and some EU microstates (not full EU members) have joined a seperate little bit so they can adopt their own spin on the euro
