Sheffield landlord fined £29200

Recommended Posts

Is he linked to cashin construction-both Baslow road based?

Apologies if not.

There is an interesting comment on the Star website which mentions a connection to a building company and google instructions for those interested.

Well known con man/cowboy builder/rouge landlord.

Linked to quite a few companies with few aliases.

Lets hope that they wont end there and do him for tax evasion.

Also all people who lost money should sue him.

Oh yes, had the pleasure a few times. One of the least likeable people I've ever met.

Couldn't agree more, and I haven't had any dealings with him for about 10 years. He was dodgy as? back then. Thoroughly unpleasant individual.

Never heard of the man, but he certainly has a history, see; http://www.derbys-fire.gov.uk/news/news-items/businessman-convicted-of-offences-against-regulatory-reform-fire-safety-order-2005/

Now he seems to think he's been unfairly treated; https://landlordnews.co.uk/members/markcashin/

Has he made enough to pay all the fines and put the properties right before bankruptcy?

I recently had an issue with an absentee landlord, fortunately the link to the following document helped me out, it deals with property standards landlords are required to meet for Houses of Multiple Occupancy:
