  1. And the story continues. This was in the Star Newspaper and in the Yorkshire Post on the 6th September, 2017. I notice it mentions another address in Bakewell but it's definitely the same person. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/rogue-landlord-pleads-guilty-to-harassing-sheffield-tenants-1-8738409
  2. Thank you for this. It's really useful. We are bothered by recorded delivery packets being very late or not arriving at all. These are precious old photos (of steam railway stuff) and mean a lot to those who are generous enough to share them.
  3. Don't know if it makes me a sad person but I've said exactly this. When you need a bookcase you need a bookcase! I don't have a car. I could get a lift to a Sheffield Ikea but it seems too much to ask for a lift to Nottingham.
  4. What's the very worst road in Sheffield 2013 that will knock yer ball joints off? I saw that in a national survey Brincliffe Edge was among the top ten worst roads (for potholes) in the country. Really dangerous for cyclists.
  5. Very interested to see this. Mark Cashin of Cashin Construction did the same to us early last year (2012). Foolishly, we gave him the money to pay for a new conservatory ((13K) and he disappeared, leaving our garden and shed like a tip. It cost another 2K to get the heaps of earth and rubbish removed, and to get his preperation work (for which he had been paid generously) put right - because it was all wrong. So we lost £15,000.00 not including his pay for poor work. We then found that we needed planning permission (he'd insisted we didn't) so thank God he went. We were in a mess with his going but would have been in a worse one if he'd stayed. I discovered he has previous. I do hope someone can learn from our bitter experience. Also his web site claims to be a Limited Company. It isn't. I would never again pay anyone any money upfront.
