No doubt Mick has done a very good job of keeping so much interest going in "Local 6" , but i,m with Alisonmanic on this one and keep to local matches only, no matter whether it be six or one game played on that day. I,m sure it will carry one whatever way it goes. Good luck everyone for the final few games.

I don't mind the other games, I think having 6 games keeps it consistent. I think if some weeks there were only 1 game (like a tues) or a cup week only 2 or 3, it would lose interest. I don't post on the forum much now, but I pop in to try for my points!

 

(I probably wouldn't bother looking if I knew only 1 game > and once missed a few > lose interest, if others do the same, it will be rubbish. The more the better IMO)

 

Either way, thanks mick. If there was a local 6 pub night, I doubt you'd have to buy a drink!

 

(p.s. mick, if you change the points, I agree with the post above that 5 2 would make more sense than 4 2. Might as well be 2 1 )

Well I've missed a couple of weeks when I've forgotten to do it but I don't feel I'd be any further behind proportionally if the points were 5 & 2 because I'd have scored more points when I didn't forget.

To me a ratio of 2.5 between a correct score and a correct result better reflects the difficulty than a ratio of 3 but as I've said before it's up to Mick.
