mjw47
The 'red' bits aren't even red.  They are in fact, that's a bad photo, but still doesn't make me any happier about it.  There's a thread on bladesmad at the minute which currently has 55 responses the majority of which are not happy to say the least.  ---------- Post added 21-03-2015 at 19:25 ----------  Going by what they were saying on p+g I thought there was no stripes at all but to be fair there some. Looks awful though and the stripes that are there you can barely see anyway  Well I sit about halfway up the John St stand and all of the mates who I sit with and me were convinced there were no stripes.  One of the mates had his 19 year old lad with him and he assured us that there were red pinstripes on the shirt.  We were not placated. mjw47
yep, i hated that strip as well, it's a great sight when their both in their proper strips, if we play you next season i'll feel cheated when we beat you lol  Don't think you are in any danger of coming down now, that win today should see you safe. ALAN 58
It,s bad enough having to change strips when playing away from home when it,s not necessary, but to take away our tradition is taking the pee. Sheffield teams play in STRIPES Red or Blue

sheff71
From John Street, it just looked like a white shirt with a bit of red trim and collar. Had it not been for the 50 foot replica shirt at the bottom of the away end, I wouldn't have known it was supposed to have red pinstripes... Â Looks like a 90s Forest away shirt, and while it would look good as an away shirt, it really does not look like a home blades shirt. Still, I haven't bought a replica kit in at least 10 years, so adidas won't care what I think!
Something
No one has mentioned the change of badge. Is no one bothered about that?
potlegs
I always wondered why we have to play in the away kit when we aren't playing a side who's kit doesn't clash. the only thing I ever came up with was that the fans who buy the away kit get chance to see the team wear it but most fans I know who go to the away games wear the home strip. green_man
No one has mentioned the change of badge. Is no one bothered about that? Â Why would they be? Why is anyone bothered full stop? It is a one off celebration on 125 years as a football club. A kit designed to replicate the one we had back at the start of our existence and the badge our very first recordable one in history. It is for one year that is all and is meant to be a celebration. Get down off your high horses and celebrate our club. The thing that matters most is how the players wearing the shirt perform. Â ps - dont forget to get on ebay and bid for today's shirts as well. All of the money raised for British Heart Foundation in memory of Shred. A real win / win, celebrate a true blades legend while supporting a wonderful charity.
Jim Hardie
They are in fact, that's a bad photo, but still doesn't make me any happier about it. Â I'll take your word for it as you've seen them in the flesh but there's a definite difference between the colour of the badge and the rest of the trim in the photo.
