Solomon1   10 #1 Posted February 20, 2015 Evenin everyone  Seeing as everyone's on about 50 shades of grey - the female perspective.  What is your attitude to porn in general?  This is Russell's take on it...and I'm inclined to agree   "The need to validate masculinity through beautiful women...to show the world what a man he is"  "Fear of true intimacy, inability to relate to women in an honest and intimate way"  What do you think?  Love As Always Sol
 Share this content via...

Chazndave   10 #6 Posted February 20, 2015 Some women will be double clicking their mouse watching what they might call the mild porn of a shiny stainless steel laptop positioned erotically on the naked jewels of Russel brands towel drapped body! Not like you that!  And you don't like anything Russell Brand says about anything because what, his opinion about amassing personal wealth through capitalism is different from yours? barleycorn   10 #8 Posted February 23, 2015 I don't think there is anything wrong with porn in principle, the porn industry, and the way sex is portrayed, on the other hand can be very exploitative.  jb
 Share this content via...
RootsBooster   24 #9 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) And you don't like anything Russell Brand says about anything because what, his opinion about amassing personal wealth through capitalism is different from yours? What are you talking about?  ---------- Post added 23-02-2015 at 13:17 ----------  I don't think there is anything wrong with porn in principle, the porn industry, and the way sex is portrayed, on the other hand can be very exploitative. jb  I agree, modern mainstream porn in particular seems to be mostly aggressive, fast and often abusive to some extent. There was a conversation about this at a work's do not long back and it turned out that the youngest lad thought this was what sex was supposed to be like.  Porn in itself (call it an artform/genre/ whatever you like) is not a bad thing though. As reality it falls short. Sadly for many the latter is true.
 Share this content via...
crookedspire   10 #11 Posted February 23, 2015 Sex sales Madonna built a music career on it. My concern with porn is the lack of safe sex it gives the impression that AIDS and HIV and STI's have gone away which I hasn't and is in fact on the rise.
