Chelle-82
Nothing wrong with a bit of porn... Â Don't know about 50 shades of grey though! bit too timid for my taste
Berberis
No, I was just having a light-hearted dig at Sol, he has a habit of saying "Russel says this..." rather than giving an independent opinion of his own. There's nothing wrong with that of course, it's just a pattern that's been noticed. RonJeremy
Do you have such faith in humanity that all the women in videos you can watch online are consenting? You are deluded if so. Have you heard of sex trafficking?  Please read the following articles and enlighten yourself:  http://humantraffickingsearch.net/wp/the-connection-between-sex-trafficking-and-pornography/ http://www.covenanteyes.com/2011/09/07/the-connections-between-pornography-and-sex-trafficking/  "In every country, almost half of the respondents said that they were forced to make pornography while enslaved in sex trafficking."  "Former porn actress Jan Meza describes the fraud in the industry. She says that the actors and actresses do not know what they are agreeing to or after their initial agreement they couldn’t get away. Something that should be noted, especially in the case of fraud, but also generally, that federal law is clear that initial consent does not preclude the possibility of the individual being victimized. Pornographers, like other pimps, learn how to exploit economic and psychological vulnerabilities to coerce them to get into and stay in the sex industry. [15] Other times they threaten or use alcohol and drugs to induce compliance, which is included in some state definitions for coercion."  Porn is a form of sex trafficking. It is exploitation of the vulnerable and by watching it you perpetuate that exploitation. Of course I've heard of trafficking - it is revolting and disgusting. I DO NOT APPROVE. People voluntarily acting in porn is a different matter. You seem to conflagrate the two. Even the website you link to has a picture of a child, whilst talking about adult pornography. The implication and connection being made that all pornography is equal to child pornography in the images portrayed.  I'm comfortable watching what I watch, but I don't pay for it.  I'm sure if you look into Hollywood movies, the "casting couch" may well have been abused in regular mainstream "interviews" of young ladies for movie roles. Just cause some people abuse a position, doesn't mean all movies should be banned.

IF porn is made where all adults are consenting and treated with respect and at least given a reasonable sum of money for what they are doing then that is fine. Â I have mentioned trafficking and linked those websites in order to try and suggest that there may be pornography that isn't made under such ideal circumstances. Can you not see that women who are trafficed for sex could quite easily be forced to perform for porn movies? Why is that such a hard concept to grasp? Pornography is very lucrative for the makers so if they're happy to force a woman into prostitution as trafficked women are then they'd surely be happy to force her to make porn moves. Â There is no way you can know when you watch porn, the circumstances under which is was made. I do not know how much porn is made using women who are forced to perform, kept in captivity, beaten, raped or whatever else but I am sure there is a percentage made like that. It may well be a high percentage. If you watch it you create a demand for porn (they know you you've visited the website) and that demand perpetuates the exploitation of vulnerable women. So YOU perpetuate the exploitation of vulnerable women. Edited February 24, 2015 by TimmyR
