ANGELFIRE1
A few years ago, it was known as Steel City, a place that made the finest steel in the world. To-day, who knows what defines Sheffield. Angel1.
discodown
2) World class nightlife? Is this a joke? World class? The city is known for having a terrible nightlife.Wasn't always the case though, This city used to have some of the finest nightclubs in the world “I hate a good many things, but I suffer them all the same.” Stannis Baratheon
janie48
The City centre of Sheffield is great! Open your eyes and have a look round. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqXy529bcd4 Danny likes it here too. Maybe some of you are just too old and past it, to appreciate the night life. The Joker
This paranoia is born out of a long standing banter between two equally prestigious city's within our county and not Just the north. Yes , Leeds is a proud City . Likewise so is Sheffield , each with a just cause to be so . Unfortunately some people take the banter to a serious extent. Leeds is Leeds and Sheffield is Sheffield . Together they are a force to be reckoned with .... " United we stand " , doesn't that mean something ? The " pity" to which you refer surely is born out of that paranoia. Sorry, I think you're looking a L**ds through rose-tinted spectacles. L**ds isn't a proud city at all. It's full of Mancs for starters At least Sheffield still contains some Yorkshire folk
Jeffrey Shaw
A few years ago, it was known as Steel City, a place that made the finest steel in the world.
