I lived on Beaumont Rd North from the early 70s to the early 80s i went to Pipworth Road infants and juniors, Best Friends back then were Deke Green, Carl Dean, Keighley Barlow and Darren Wilson, other people i hanged around with were Paul Day Billy Wood and Colin Pickering.

I lived on Blackstock Road near the water tower in the early 70s remember walking to Graves Park as a little Lad, kicking the piles of leaves then going to the little shop near Cobnar Road as a child they had the best sweets in the world to me. Then walking up to the lake watching people in the boats, then on to the Cafe for a Carton of Kia-Ora, then the long walk down through the woods to the the little park near the Woodseats Road entrance to play on the climbing frame and the roundabout. The Joy i had on a Saturday Afternoon

i was their from 1984-1987 i was called Sagga back then the discos were always memorable everyone drinking "20-20" or cheap nasty cider either Dave or Keith kicking you out and saying see you next week!, Just to add i bumped into Dave in Moor Market Yesterday 1/10/14 he told me he was retiring soon. Happy Retirement Dave and all the Best in your Old Age.
