Sheffield Ski Village On Fire Again Thread

Recommended Posts

There's nothing of worth left up there. Putting security cameras in would just give the kids new material to burn.

Then its the same old conundrum is it mindless vandals/ kids or is it someone with other reasons?

Where's the nearest fire station to Hillsborough? Elm Lane?

There is a fire station at the end of Rivelin Valley road where the one way system of Holme Lane is.

Presumably it hasnt been cleared up yet because the Council are still waiting to decide whats going to happen to the site and that any developer pays for cleaning it up? Not sure if they can force the current tenant to do that? He wants to build houses.

Im surprised theres still anything left to burn!

I'm pretty sure now the vandals actually have to bring in their own material to burn as there's nothing left on site.

This is becoming a farce. Wasn't there a fire in the area just yesterday, and yet people are free to set another one today! do we have a police force or what??
