JFKvsNixon
Oh yes , most of Cornwall has been affected . I feel so awful but I know it will be so hard for them to get right from this horrid flood Most of Cornwall hasn't been flooded, the south coast has taken the brunt of the storms. shanes teeth
Whereabouts in Cornwall are you going?
gogogo
Go to Cornwall and feel proud that you have done your bit to help get the place back on its feets rather than running away when things get rough. You were more than happy to book your holiday there and experience its wonder when things were fine so what is stopping you now? It may not be as pretty a sight as what it once was but without you and other people bringing tourism back they are never going to get back on their feet. charliewag
we've booked a cottage in cornwall in may and have no intention of cancelling. flood damage or not, we love the area and visit every couple of years. as gogogo says, they rely on tourism so you could say we are doing our bit to help them. neeeeeeeeeek
Its not months , its 3 months . I cannot see it being back to normal by then . When Boscastle was hit it took ages :hihi: Cornwall isn't Somerset. Have you even checked to see if the place you are going is effected?
Tess
We're off to Weymouth in June. I've got no doubt it'll be fine by then and we will have an enjoyable stay. You should just go, and enjoy yourself!
