fairyworld14
We have booked to go to Cornwall again in May but I feel we should cancel because of the floods. It breaks my heart but I am going with my gut . Does anyone know of a camp site that has swimming pool & is near the sea in Northumberland

SpikeMac
It is months until you go. The floods will be a distant memory by then. Why do you think that Northumberland is going to be any better? In my experience, it rains all summer up there.

GLASGOWOODS
Don't worry about the floods. I'm staying in a luxury lodge in Newton Stewart (Scotland) first week in March for 5 days. The weather is always horrendous, but sitting in the hot tub as it pees it down is great.
blake
you'll be fine. Whatever happened to the British stiff upper lip. When I last went on holiday there was a Force 7.2 earthquake three days after I arrived, followed by the most powerful typhoon in recorded history a couple of weeks later, killing about 10,000 people in total within a 100 mile radius of where I was and it didn't spoil my enjoyment even a little tiny bit.
