liza D Â Â 10 #122 Posted April 9, 2013 (edited) Cameron said 'she saved the country'. You can't say that about many PM's, except Winstone Churchill. Â Â Â Cameron is an ass. SAAB_ Â Â 10 #123 Posted April 9, 2013 She was a devisive character I'm not surprised at all. Â Im not surprised either. We live in a society of nasty, cruel heartless people who delight in the misery (and in the case death) of a person who devoted their life to trying to make this a better country. airking   10 #131 Posted April 9, 2013 rightly or wrongly if MT was in power today Abu Qatada would NOT be in this country.  Well from a woman who supported Pinochet and described Nelson Mandela as "that grubby little terrorist" I can't see how you can be so sure of that. liza D Â Â 10 #132 Posted April 9, 2013 I think a few steel industry workers wold challenge you on that statement. Â Â Â And a few farmers, ship builders, fishermen, in fact most who used to be able to find work in places where we produced or grew or mined. Now we have call-centres and fast food places and most of our stuff is imported and farmers get paid to grow grass instead of crops or rear cattle. Â It's interesting that most of the posts for the Thatcher cow are from those who were still in nappies or not even born when she was around. Â As for a public funeral when most are struggling because of her legacy. My thoughts go to images of Guy fawkes.
 Share this content via...
