HeadingNorth
Mrs Staniland said breaking the holiday into two groups on separate dates was not an option as the council funding was only for a certain date. Â Well, I'm fairly sure that Butlins are not to blame for how the council chooses to fund these trips. They still aren't the bad guys.
Ladeckington
Omg how did that lot make the news?
Rimrunner
This isn't a story... The man with the drive in a million pieces after it was drove on once (doing a job he requested) and demanding a new drive, now that was a story 00000000000000000000000000000004:D ` I love that story  on a more serious note while i agree that Butlins can admit who they like but in the current climate should they turn anybody away as this is going to have an affect on sales as people will boycott them on this story. my bet is they will change their minds and certain people will be getting a free holiday. Rich
Sounds like rent-a-camp got it wrong. Â At least it's not a total ban, which is something I s'pose.

BLADE8T1
I see why Butlins have made this decision. If the group is growing, whats the number going to be next year? 40? 50?.I mean there has to be a limit. On another note,,,You have to admire and give credit to Mrs.Staniland,86 and still looking after her 59 y/o son.Now thats commitment!.WELL DONE YOU!. Jim Hardie
I may have this wrong but where does the 30 years in the headline apply to this story?. The group have been going 19 years according to the story.  Well spotted. I think it's called tabloid license. I call it sloppy reporting and it's why I've finally stopped buying this once great evening paper. There was a time when this was unthinkable but that was years ago.
satman2222
Why don't they just make 5 or 6 seperate bookings in different names to split up the numbers ?
