Meh, I would've found the group about as "intimidating" as a damp dishcloth!

Butlins seriously need to grow a pair and get over themselves.

Are you a child?

Butlins was worried about children being intimidated i think. I personaly wouldnt be but i can fully understand where Butlins is coming from.

Who says its discrimination? only the mother in question. The group have been refused a full party booking by Butlins due to party size as its Butlins perogative to do (you try booking a party size that large all adults) Butlins have offered to accommodate them in smaller groups over two holidays so again whats the story here for the star?

Butlins - apparently - said the group was "intimidating" not "large".

Read it again. It also said 'intimidating'.

It all depends what slant you want to give it....they also said that they'd take the holiday makers in 2 groups.....do Butlins allow large groups of adults to book en masse..genuine question...

Is 'drival' a rival to 'drivel'?

lol good point

I dont blame butlins for doing this.

You notice a lot of places like camp sites not wanting single sex groups because of the problems they cause.

This "group" are no different. So quite right for them to be limited

It just isnt a news worthy story

What I would like to know is, if the group hadnt've had learning disabilities, would they have still been "intimidating"?! I still reckon there's at least some discrimination involved in this!

And being disabled myself, I will boycott Butlins until a suitable answer to this is given, not that I've been for over 30 years anyway.
