I wondered this - I'm sure a couple of years back I read about a large (EU?) grant that we'd got to re-do all the roads. What happened to it or did I dream it? dean9 Posted March 16, 2012 Share Posted March 16, 2012 as the piece on look north said, if your a cyclist it is not only uncomfortable but dangerous to go out on the roads. the amount of potholes and the depth are really bad. then you have to take into account that you cant avoid all of them because you would be swerving from one side to another. so its either have the occasional buckled wheel or get run over by an irate driver from behind.
