Should pictures of Bin Laden's corpse be released?

Recommended Posts

SEALS are trained hard, maybe even harder than the SAS! There's a show on discovery that follows certain parts of the training and it's a lot worse than you'd expect from what you see in media etc.

I think vResistance may blow up now with me talking about TV and media, because they are all made by the government

They have been lying since it happened, the so called reliable media just report what they are told by the US and they haven't made their minds up yet.or have they ? what is the latest official story ?

That isn't because the government can't afford to help them though. I do see your point in a way but it's not as simple as if they hadn't had to spend 2.5 trillion on the stuff they have then they could have helped the survivors of Katrina. That is up to charities/aid organizations to help out with and if they're part funded by the government then great but it won't have made any difference I imagine.

My point is the US track record for hepling it's own poor people is generally crap and to suggest the money would have been spent on helping people is almost laughable. I don't think it should be down to charities/aid organizations to clean-up after a national disaster. I seriously doubt a penny of the 2.5 trillion would have got to New Orleans (or anyone "poor") had it not been spent on chasing OBL.

Anyway, it seems that they've decided not to release any pornographic pictures thankfully.

WASHINGTON (RNN) - President Barack Obama has decided not to release a photo of a dead Osama bin Laden.

CNN and NBC News reported at 1:30 p.m. ET that Obama has ordered that the photo not be released.

They haven't necessarily being lying, at the start of each press interview they always say the latest report is... so that means it's what they know at that point. So if they get things wrong and change that (like the wife NOT been shot) then what is wrong with that? At the time that they said that it was the SAME day. There are thousands of details and questions that people were asking 2 guys so to expect them to know everything in such a short period of time is a bit OTT. Surely anyway if they were lying, they wouldn't update the report of what happened?

I don't watch the news much, I keep an eye on the people who provide the majority of the news to the news companies themselves and other sources too, it's worldwide news, it's slightly different from a local paper making up crap!

Again, you avoided questions from before which says everything really.

But how much has been earnt from oil ,poppies, contracts, and insurances and continues to be?

Bin Laden if you believe he ever existed or was responsible for 9/11, killed nowhere near the numbers of innocent people that the 'coalition' has and is still doing.

It wasnt Bin Laden that took away the US and UK rights from its people it was the US and UK goverments.

I know the innocent people arnt you mum ,brother or sister so it doesnt matter but the to the hundreds of thousands of innocent peoples families it has affected im sure they think different after all even if you believe half the twadle they didnt do it.

Dont civilians take casualties in any war? These innocent people you speak of paid the price for Bin Laden's declared war on the west. Did he or any of his group take into consideration the possible repercussions when they showed their determination to carry the war to the US by bombing embassies, the attack on the USS Cole, two previous attemps to bomb the Trade Center before the third 0n 9/11.

Bin Laden cared nothing for his people just as Hitler cared nothing for Germans when he too was determined to wage all out war. They too paid the price for his warmongering. It happens all the time.

You blame the coalition for the deaths of innocents conveniently ignoring the thousands killed in Iraq by inter-tribal rivalry. Afgahan tribes have been busily killing each other for centuries and the Taleban did their share when they took over Afghanistan

Bin Laden and his war were responsible for certain losses of western liberty.

Do you really think that for instance we would be subject to all the humiliating searches at airports, wiretapping, background checks etc had it not been for him?

Every time I have to take my damn shoes off and put them in a box when I pass through airport security brings me to mind of Richard Reid, a graduate of Finsbury Park mosque.

Bin Laden's death is only a temporary victory and the war will go until people in the middle east finally have enough of the vermin living among them and take matters into their own hands and aid the coalition in wiping em out

SEALS are trained hard, maybe even harder than the SAS!

1 in 5 get to be a SEAL

1 in 60 get in the S.A.S.

You only have to run up a hill with a bumbag on to get in the SEALS, they are laughed at in the military world.

They have indeed, and anyone who believes anything they say has to be a wee bit tick. They said the other day that he used their lass as a shield, today they are saying he didn't.

Your stats are from where?

If you've seen SEAL training you'll see they DON'T have to run up a hill, they have to go through serious training which involves stuff like been woken up in the middle of the night, hanging from your legs on a pole up side down and pulling yourself up over and over while being sprayed with water. They go through loads of simulation tests too and something like 90% drop out in the first few days of training.

Hardly 'running up a hill' is it? I probably shouldn't have said it's harder training than the SAS but no one really knows much about a lot of the SAS training!

As I just said, at the start of that conference along with the others they've had, they said it's based on latest reports and it's to the best of their knowledge at that time and new information is coming in all the time. They didn't say he used her as a shield either, they said she was used as a human shield and was killed, she did run at them though and was shot in the leg as a result.

So was it true?

What they originally said wasn't true, but that's just down to misinformation. For you to question it seems a tad desperate because if they WERE lying about it all, surely they just wouldn't change the story at all?

Or are you now going to say that they changed the story to make it look like they weren't lying because people would see it like I've just said? :hihi:

Anyway, who cares if they're lying about the details. However they did it, he's dead!
