Dizzyblonde
At one of my kids proms, two lads pushed wheelbarrows with their friends in. I think I have seen a tandem used. Its the zanniest which get the most laughs.

mj.scuba
Why not just give them a lift in the car? It isn't healthy to be breeding narcissistic characteristics into our young people so that they expect the limo, expect the most expensive dress etc etc. At the end of the day, it's just a school disco, not a state banquet. Resident
When it was my prom, it was the first year that the school had one. I attended mine in the back of an ambulance (a real one). I was quite ill but it had been arranged in colusion with my doctors as it was meant to boost my moral (been in hospital a few months by then) It worked. Seeing all my friends outside the depressing hospital wards (not to mention the female attention I got )
Forumosaurus
Instead of a Limo, why not go for something reaallyy classy like a Rolls Royce, a Rolls Royce Phantom in black would look uber swish. Or like some posh bently or a nice Bently or something. Tell you what I have a black Fiat Punto I'll wear a suit and take you =D haha Edited January 6, 2011 by Forumosaurus

Hadron
Proms are great for making the young ones think about getting an event organised and socialising. For horse drawn carriages there is Apple Blossom Carriages (Barnsley) and Cottom Carriages (Barlborough) How about a tank http://www.tanklimo.com/galleries/gallery19/
