catanfan   10 #75 Posted July 2, 2010 The 97 and 98 (Totley to Sheffield to Ecclesfield) routes are being severely cut. Currently both services run every half-hour in the evenings but they will both be reduced to running once per hour after the July revision. So frustrating. I've tried complaining to First before. You get fobbed off constantly and then silence reigns supreme.
 Share this content via...
foxydebs   36 #76 Posted July 3, 2010 http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/yorkhumber/southyorkshire/timetables/new_timetables.php If I'm reading the timetable right it seems that the 45 doesn't go into Firth Park anymore? If true these changes have added on another 2-3 hours in travel time to my working week. Thanks First!  The 46 still goes to firth park, if thats any help. DalianT Â Â 10 #79 Posted July 20, 2010 Any idea if the number 7 timetable has been released? I've looked on the Travel South Yorkshire website but to no avail! Â It just seems weird that we're so close to these quite substantial changes and there is no sign of all the new timetables yet. Â Might just be me not looking thoroughly enough
 Share this content via...

LadyInRed   10 #83 Posted July 20, 2010 11 First: Sheffield-Stannington-Dungworth Monday to Saturday evening and all Sunday journeys are replaced by new service 11A. Buses will no longer operate between Stannington and Dungworth. For this part of the route alternative journeys are available on services 61 and 62.  11A First: Sheffield-Hall Park Head-Stannington New service operating between Sheffield and Stannington, Nethergate via Hall Park Head on Monday to Saturday evenings and all day Sundays. It will replace existing journeys on services 11 and 12.  12 First: Sheffield-Hall Park Head Monday to Saturday evening and all Sunday journeys are replaced by new service 11A.  What a crock of crud - How are all the older age group suposed to use the 61 and 62 route when only one of these buses passes through the OAP flats area and they are few and far between (although always ontime)  First did this once before and it had to go back to normal because i didn't work - where is the pettition to leave them alone - anytime of day these buses are ususally full or enough passengers to warrent not changing them!!  Pen pushers who drive and do not use PT have made these changes - nobody asks the actual PT users!
