silverknight
The 17 /17a will run between Norton Lees and Meadowhall ??? Will that be including the route it now takes ...through Hillsborough , Lane Top ect .... or have we lost our service???? I can't see an alternative bus listed here:huh: The current 17 Meadowhall - Lane top - Parson cross - Fox Hill -Hillsborough - City remains the same as now. The main change is that Monday to Saturday daytime service extends from City to Norton Lees (replacing some service 33 journeys). Unless Norton Lee customers want a Grand day out they won't use it for journeys to Meadowhall - It will take a least 90 to 100 minutes!!

Andy C
Does anyone know if any of these 76/75/78 buses will carry on to go through Ecclesfield Village or will we all have to walk down to Ecco Common?? I have tried contacting first and got some abraisive woman going "dont know till its official"??? Looks like 73 via Firshill, Southey Green and Parsons Cross 75 as now via Firth Park and Sheffield Lane Top and continuing to High Green 76 via Firth Park and Shiregreen terminating at Ecclesfield Morrisons
Maddy
Is the 45/46 still going to serve all of Grimesthorpe? Hollywell Road etc I am assuming so because its on the way to Meadowhell but can't quite get my head around the new route. It looks like the 46 will miss us out Also does this mean it will go back to serving Moorfoot?
Andy C
45 will run Sheffield to Meadowhall via Beacon Way and Sandstone Road partly replacing the current 4. Then on from Meadowhall to Firth Park as now, but continuing on to Hillsborough replacing the current route 1. 46 will run Sheffield to Meadowhall via Petre Street and past the end of Margate Drive partly replacing the current 4 then onto Firth Park and Northern General Hospital. Also to note, service 5 (Sheffield to Firth Park, operated by SCT) will have a route change serving Grimethorpe Road instead of Petre Street. I have small children and rely on the buses, this is going to make it much more difficult for me. It is also going to have an impact on my ability to get to work
