Michael_N
Looking at the Jam Cams across the City and South Yorkshire, the roads are starting to get clogged up due to flash flooding all around the city. Motorway Jam Cams - http://www.sy-transport.co.uk/traffic/motorway_jam_cams.htm Sheffield Jam Cams - http://www.sy-transport.co.uk/traffic/sheffield_jam_cams.htm Bus & Tram Disruption: BUS SERVICES Due to heavy rain fall and traffic volumes bus services are being disrupted and delays can be expected. At this time no services have been cancelled. Chesterfield Road under the railway bridge in Heeley (near Ponsford) is flooded. As such, any services which normally use this route will be diverting out of town along Broadfield Road, Abbeydale Road and Woodseats Road before rejoining the normal route. In to town services will be diverting along Woodseats Road, Abbeydale Road, Wolseley Road before rejoinging the normal route. Olive Grove Road is also flooded. Services are diverting along East Bank Road in both directions. TRAM SERVICES Supertram have confirmed they are running between Meadowhall and Cathedral and Birley Lane and Halfway. It is flooding that is affecting the lines. Looks like it is going to get worse over the next few hours too! Stay safe!
zongamin
The drains at the bottom of Granville Road have all burst and a huge hole has opened up in the road. Also the traffic lights over the tram track are out.

boyface
Nothing is moving on The Wicker. My other half has given up and she's walking home. To Handsworth. Hoping we can go the other way and get her but don't think we can get out as the road leading to the Parkway is jammed.

Looks that way. I usually commute that route - except Wednesday's, feeling fortunate now. My fellow commuters are apparently stuck at Stockport.
