Every time you post you demonstrate that you dont understand very much Sandie. Your latest post demonstrates that, despite having read the definition of "mongrel", you still don't understand it. You dont even understand the word "or".

 

Perhaps you could tell me what we Yorkshiremen have in common other than than that we were all born in the same county. And while you are at it, enlighten me on what makes a "pure" yorkshireman. Just which bit of history does this mythical breed come from and which wave of invaders, military or peaceful does it exclude? Celts, Romans, Angles, Saxons, Vikings, Irish, Scots, French, West Indian, Asian, Polish, other bits of the UK etc etc?. Come on Sandie. show me how much you really understand about Yorkshire.

 

I have never, would never and could never call Yorkshire people stupid or idiots or anything like that. You however qualify as an individual on both

Yorkshiremen have the abillity to respect the county and those that live in it, as regards a pure Yorkshireman well if you need to ask the question then you dont understand.

It seems to me that you misunderstood my post 102 and started a totally unnecessary row on the back of your misunderstanding.

 

Just in case you still dont understand, read the next bit slowly:-

I do not think that we yorkshire people are stupid or idiots.(just the odd one or two just as in any community) But I do think that the people entitled to call themselves Yorkshirefolk have ancestry from lots of races and creeds which have combined over thousands of years and continue to do so. This means that yorkshire is no purer a race of people than anywhwere else in the UK - thats all it means - It does not say anything about intelligence.

 

So perhaps now you will make an effort to answer the questions put to you ?
