Yeah,I used to live near there - it was border of Greenhill and Bradway. Also had a 9 hole pitch and putt. Thinks there's just a driving range there now.

Have you considered Maia worktops (search interweb for their site). I supply and install them and they are a good composite product that are cheaper than granite. Lots of colours to choose from. Ring if you want a quote.

If the 'lead' hasn't been chased into the wall I would guess that it isn't lead that's been used. There is a self adhesive flashing on the market that if applied correctly (bonded to the wall with a heat gun and well pressed in) does the job well. It's darker in colour than lead so easy to tell. If this is the case, either try heating it or have it removed and get some lead on. Happy to take a look.

Hi all, pricing up a large job that includes painting 16 sash windows (up to 3 stories high) and two large doors. I need an idea of how much to quote for painting and then ultimately a painter to do the job. Windows in top condition so only minimal prep work involved. Paint supplied by customer. I don't want to get into a forum style beat the quote game as the customer wants a first class job so good tradesman is important with a realistic price. Cheers.....
