  1. I'd recommend Portofino, next to the white lion where London Road turns into Chesterfield Road. I've been quite a few times. The food is sensational and very reasonably priced considering the quality. Nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere too. I love Italian food and this is the best restaurant I've found in Sheffield so far. I've never recommended restaurants on here but I have this worry that these little authentic, non-chain places will disappear if we don't all support them with our custom. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll love it.
  2. I think the fact that this thread has (largely) not been polluted by the usual imbecilic, barely disguised racists/islamophobes goes a long way to demonstrate the point that Boy Friday originally made. Despite the problems which have been highlighted with the Newsnight debate, I agree that the best way to explode the many myths about Islam (which are frequently cited as justifications for extremism and violence) is to pitch articulate exponents from the opposite ends of the same spectrum against each other. This is the only way to show up ignorant thugs like Choudary for who they really are.
  3. Wow, couldn't agree more. Your reaction to Sandra's comments are frankly baffling and I'm almost wondering whether this whole thing is something of a wind-up! I think you should be grateful for Sandra's comments. She has clearly taken the time and effort to give you feedback and if you can't hear it, then you really shouldn't ask for it. I also work in mental health and regardless of the quality of your website, the tone of your reply to Sandra's feedback is completely unjustified in my opinion. To imply that she may have mental health issues of her own is frankly irresponsible, rude and downright unprofessional. So what if she did have? What the hell does that have to do with you? I work in the NHS and I would advise anyone looking at getting help for mental health problems to steer clear of these lot. Your GP is the best place to start and provision within the NHS is much better than it was a few years ago. If you do want to go private, make sure the organisation or individual that you approach is registered with BACP (see here http://www.bacp.co.uk/). Sadly, it's all to easy to get a counselling diploma and set up an organisation like this, there's very little to prevent anyone from doing so. In terms of your request for a review of your site, I can't be bothered to give you any of my time. I did look for a minute. It was crap. Please feel free to try out your libel insurance on me, I oculd do with a laugh.
  4. Hi, Does anyone know where one of these can be hired from? I need to be able to get a digger down a path that is 700mm at its narrowest. Some of the diggers are said to need 750mm and some 700mm. I'm thinknig about hiring one with a driver if possible to do some ground work in my back garden. Thanks for any help.
  5. Hi, Sorry, didnt get the PM for some reason. Could you resend? Thanks, Lee.
  6. :)oh, and if anyone has any reccommendations, please let me know. Thanks all, Lee.
  7. Hi All, Anyone out there who could quote me for some work in my garden? I need a retaining wall (about 5/6' high) built at the top, as the part of the garden in question is on a downward slope. I then need the garden below the wall levelling off and a base laying for a shed/workshop (11'x11' approx). Access to the back of the house is via a narrow path, at its narrowest around 700mm and so I'm not sure whether it would be possible to get a micro-digger down there although there may be access options via my neighbours garden. Please get in touch with a contact number/ email address and we can arrange to meet up and discuss the job. Many thanks, Lee.
