  1. I'm sure if you check out fancie website they are on sharrowvale road, she advertises tea parties where you can make your own cupcakes.
  2. Got a mattress in good clean condition, but wondered if any charitys in the area would take it off our hands rather than taking it to the skip. I know some of them don't take second hand matteresses, so any help would be appreciated.
  3. Thanks for the info, just booked my tickets for wembley on presale from idiotclub!!!!!! Can't wait, want to go now, so jealous that you got to see them twice, we went to sheffield this time, but went to manchester last time and they were fab and i find MEN a much better arena than sheffield.
  4. Axl - the cocker spaniel named by my husband after Axl Rose, the next one is going to be a black cocker called Slash!!!!!! Won't that be a laugh shouting them in the park? But at least it will stop people asking if he's named after Axl Foley??
  5. We got some of the DIY balloon kits for our wedding and the same happened, the latex balloons can't be as strong as the foil type of balloon, as they last forever.
  6. I must say that when I have sold items on ebay the amount of buyers who purchase someting from you and then expect you to change the terms of sale for them is unbelieveable, When something is listed that it how the seller expects the transaction to be completed. You then do not have the right to change the terms of sale. I hope you come to some agreement with the seller and get to the concert.
  7. We have a caravan at whitby and dogs can't go on the beach there between May and September, think the nearest completely dog friendly beach we have been to was Saltburn up the coast from Whitby. Don't know about the pubs we just tend to stick to the site pub, and other than that we sit outside. But dogs are allowed on certain parts of Scarborough beach and Parts of Filey beach.
  8. We tried all over to get sheffield steel wedding rings, and all the ones we saw where made abroad. We ended up getting ours from a little jewellers in York (Bradleys) who was very reasonable and had exactly what we wanted. Try PA Jewellery at crookes they had a good selection. Not sure if they make them there that would make it a steel ring made in sheffield.
  9. Hi caz2go Annie was my nannan, i remember being behind the counter of that shop from a very early age, nicking cherries from the top of the buns!!! She was truly a lovely lady. Kate:D

  11. Have you tried giving Edinburgh tourist info office a call, mignt not be anything posted on their web site yet, but maybe a nice person on the end of the phone willing to give you the answers you need.
  12. Hi Rachel BP petrol Station, Bramall Lane had them in the fridges there this morning.
  13. Try filling the empty bottles with tap water and see if he notices, bet its just the bottle he identifies with not the taste. I'll keep an eye out for you, have you tried Makro? thats where the shops tend to buy from.
  14. Just had to go through this for my boss, reserched who was offering the best buy back price and it was M&S, ring the store and they will tell you what todays rate is and the amount you will get back, but i have to agree with Sentinel find someone to buy them off you.
  15. It just beings back so many memories of my childhood every time this thread is resurected, I grew up on dutton road, Dad Dennis Davenport, Grandparents Annie and Dennis that had the shop on dutton road and the chippie opposite sunblest. Madowl all the names are familier to me but all are a few years older than me. The ones i remember from around there are the cheethams, horne's debbie and anita. Sure that there is many more but remembering names is not my strong point.
  16. It was part of the old Marshalls Works, Loxley. Down the lane after rowel lane from what i remember from going there as a child.
  17. Hi Astraman The house in No.5 is that the old Marshalls Sports and Social Club on Marshalls works site? Just curious as you listed it as home for wayward boys.
  18. We've just gone with Argos, looks like excellent cover and a few quid cheaper than More Than, who we was insured with last year.
  19. Hi Hannah54321 we have a 1 year old cocker and when we needed training advice for him we used Phil Jackson, he's a trainer that i had recommended through the forum. I spoke to him for about 40 minutes on the phone first explaining the problems we were having and we then arranged an assessment at our home which lasts approx 2 hours and costs £45, he didn't clock watch and gave us the knowledge how to deal with him in the correct way when we had a problem and we've never looked back. You can book additional sessions if you feel that you require them but personally we only needed the initial session. He also sent us a written report on his recommendations and the details of the initial session to look back over at a later date. Let me know if you want his number and I'll find it out for you. Hope this helps.
  20. I know it's a bit late and you will have probaby had your chinese by now but for next time try the one on Winn Gardens shops or Wharncliffe Side, Both are great, not at all greasy and much better than the ones on Middlewood Road shops.
  21. I have ordered them from here when i got them for my dog, they have all sorts of designs and are reasonalble value and delivered very quickly. http://www.collarsandtags.co.uk/
