  1. For over 30 years, Texas have proved themselves to be one of Scotland’s best ever bands and nothing short of a national treasure south of the border. To coincide with the release, the band will play a massive 24 date tour, including a visit to Sheffield City Hall on Monday 28 February 2022.
  2. Echo & The Bunnymen have announced that due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak and the government measures they are rescheduling their 2021 tour to February 2022. The 17 date tour, from one of the most influential British bands in modern history, will be opening at the Sheffield City Hall on 1 February 2022 (all tickets from original date 7 May 2021 remain valid) and will celebrate the songs that have brought the group twenty top 20 hits and nine top 20 albums so far during their incredible 40-year career.

  8. The annual visit of Premier League darts to Sheffield Arena has been postponed until May 12 2022. Sheffield was again set to be one of the destinations on this year's four-month Premier League tour, which features the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, reigning champion Glen Durrant and new World Champion Gerwyn Price. The PDC have now confirmed this year's planned visit to Sheffield will now not take place as planned due to ongoing restrictions, which mean that at least half of this year's event will be held behind closed doors in April. However, next year's schedule has been confirmed, with the Sheffield Arena set to host the 15th league night on Thursday May 12 2022. Sheffield has been a huge success since being added to the Premier League circuit in 2007, and regularly attracts huge crowd as the world's top darts stars visit Yorkshire. Existing ticket bookings for the 2020/2021 Premier League nights at the Sheffield Arena will be moved to the 2022 event, or fans can request a refund from the Box Office where they made their purchase.
  9. The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that they've had to change the date - the show on 2 July 2021 will now take place on Friday 1 July 2022. If you've already received your tickets, they're still valid for the new date - you just need to show up on the night and they'll be accepted.
