  1. A true gent who will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P.
  2. I had one from Parking Eye while I was actually in my car in the car park down Hillsborough, I wasn't even in a parking space, I was just waiting and was there for 12 mins, I never paid, got 4 or so letters with the charges then they just stopped.
  3. Deeply saddened to hear of shoeshines death. A great guy and a true gent that i spoke to often and one that I had the pleasure of calling my friend. He'll be very sadly missed, my condolences to all his family. SF has lost another good un'. RIP.x
  4. I'm gonna send him a text to let him know, if you ever want his number just let me know. Dads death was a hell of a shock as it was so sudden, miss him so much, him and my mum moved into a bungalow just 4 months earlier which was something he'd been wanting to do for a long time, mum was due to retire on the following saturday as he died on the tuesday. Charlie died a few years ago. Just my uncle John (who is still on Longley Avenue), Eric and Chris left now of the Bartholomew brothers. Hope you recovered from that...lol, my nan was lovely. I remember my dad telling me about the chickens and the way they used to strangle their necks to kill them, i remember him also telling me about a time when he cut off one of the chickens heads and then the chicken got up and started running about. I've got a lot of old photos that I've put on facebook of the lot of them and there's a lot of Chris when he was a lad if you're a member on there.
  5. Cheers you, I thought I'd give this a shot like Mark said, you never know someone could know something who see's this, I've nothing to lose by asking.
  6. Thank-you, the garden is looking lovely, my brother is doing it all for her, after today though, she's lost all enthusiasm now to want it finishing.
  7. I'm appealing for anyone who has seen or knows anything about a couple of items that were pinched from Danebrook Drive in S2 last night or the early hours of this morning sometime. These were bought by me and my brothers for my mum as a rememberence to my dad who suddenly died at the end of March. Most of the people in her area know about these things as they have been watching the progress of the garden as it's come along and know of their significance. If anyone in that area has seen anything or knows of anything of their whereabouts any information would be greatly received. I've attached a picture to show the bench and the water feature that were taken, these as a matter of fact were securely bolted down and whoever has taken them took the appropriate tools to unbolt everything carefully. Bench and water feature
  8. Well for all you knew she was never gonna turn up so yeah what you did was right.
  9. They were bringing that in for the end of March then changed the date to May.
  10. Why is it changing?. We've been doing this for months now. Agree that the blue boxes are a joke though, hate the damn thing, definitely could do with another bin and would love them to bring the green garden waste bins to this area too.
  11. You took the words right out of my mouth..... Just put what you feel someone would like to know about you but don't give too much away as there's then room for questions later and gives you both something to talk about, just be totally honest, it's all that anyone can ask.
  12. My dad was cremated yesterday and it cost £2,600 for a hearse and 1 other car, the only thing this didn't include was the flowers which you order seperately.
  13. Yeah right.....you're never off the bloody thing, no one ever gets a chance on there, your news feeds are constant.
  14. It was there today. Could it be the second one they opened up just for christmas upstairs that you're on about?
  15. Cannot believe he's gone. I'll always remember our hot choccy recipe chats. R.I.P.

Anything more you need to know then feel free to ask
  17. They were still going round much later than that. I was born in 64' and I remember being at my nans and getting writing books and balloons off the rag and bone man.
