They have more than seventy customers per day, ive been in on a Saturday morning when its been completely full,well around sixty customers & within 1hour they have left and been replaced by the same amount then there is the afternoon customers to count, I think the footfall means people going PAST the shop.

My Wife & I go in at least twice a week the staff are very good especially the woman from Australia, its terrible to think that they have all lost their jobs. Its a pity they could not re-locate somewhere on the main drag.

I miss the smoke and not a whiff of Curry anywhere.

Over the odds & profitering are two different things, ten pence is over the odds,thirty pence is profitering. Every shop is a "Convenience" store no matter where it is sited, that term comes from America where it describe the store being a Convenience not a profitering shop.

People arent to pleased as its expensive & most of the goods are NOT priced up. A mate went in to buy some Onions for his Wife to save her going to the shops, they usually pay £1.30 same weight in the Far Lees shop £1.90

The Far Lees has gone, the Olive Grove is in a bad state, the Horse & Groom didnt reach its price in auction. Its time the Government did something about the smoking ban & the ridiculous price of beer, its now round about £22 a gallon makes petrol seem quite cheap by comparision.
