Anyone know what an employers legal duties are when it comes to the Euro 2016 football match? If a match takes place mid week then fans will be drinking and so may not be able to get up for work the following day, likewise if your job involves driving then you could be over the legal limit for driving. What is the legal responsibility of the employer because surely the employer can't expect you to deliver your parcels if you are over the legal drink drive limit? ALso can I be expected to work if England are playing? Surely if my employer didn't allow me to watch the game this would be discrimination and as such I could take the employer to court?

As a mate said who has been to Wembly We are on our way back, but they seem to be stuck in traffic jams So will be on their way back once they can get on the M1 And then Wednesday will be on their way back
-
SO you'll be looking forward to the big games next seeson against Fleetwood and chesterfield then?
-
Look on the bright side if Barnsley go up today then the 2016 season will be a season full of derbys Barnsley and Rotherham, theres 12 points for starters Leeds, is always a good local Derby Huddersfield, good Derby again And there is Derby, although that's not a Derby I think it'll be a decent season and I think Wednesday will finish top 2
-
What happens on these runs if someone falls over while running? Is there an emergency action plan and if so what is the protocol?
-
They lost due to goals scored But they didn't lose in my opinion
-
Sheffield Wednesday were the true winners in my opinion Wednesday fans outnumbered the Hull fans Wednesday fans out shouted the hull fans Wednesday had more possession Wednesday showed more heart BUt Hull scored the winning goal
-
SO they will have gone a different route? I thought you had to go to Leeds and then go down the M1 to get to London, is this not the case?
-
SO why would they be going down the M18, because that road only goes to the M1? so surely if you want to get to London you need to be driving down the M1? So join at Leeds LOst fans? No fans more like Coach load after coach load of the blue and white army going past junction 33 and 3 lads in a battered Renault driving past :hihi: So how many unsold seats will there be at Wembly? I reckon about 34,000 in the Hull end
-
So I've just past junction 33 and there is coach load after coach load after coach load of Wednesday fans on their way to Wembly And 3 hull fans in a battered Renault clio driving past junction 33 says it all about the fan base of both clubs Can yo imagine what will happen when there is a traffic jam on the M1? Those 3 lads in the clio will be surrounded by coach loads of Wednesday fans giving V signs and mooning at them. Where are the other Hull fans? They aren't on the M1?

EU Referendum - How will you vote?
rogets replied to Havanaclub's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
Are people aware that due to the EU that mobile phone charges are supposed to be coming down? If this is the case that mobile phone charges are going to be reduced then I will be voting to remain within the EU And no I'm not stupid, I've got a degree -
Predict outcome of EU membership referendum here

The vote date coincides with the Euro 2016 So I think a vast swathe of the electorate won't leave the pub because of the footy match Postal vote to have a big impact Plus the less educated brit will believe what the government tells them and vote in So I predict we will vote in And then within a week the crisis in Calais and other problems will suddenly surface again in the media -
New speed camera on Penistone Road?
rogets replied to the_mandarin's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Driving too fast are we? Breaking the law are we? Not able to stick to the speed limit are we? Shame on you -
Just go in as a hull fan as they can't sell their tickets As long as you remember to take your Wednesday scarf off when you take your seat before the start of the match At least you'll get to see the final
-
Can't get through. Does this mean we will have to go in as hull supporters if we want to watch the game? I can just see it now, when Wednesday score you'll see all the Hull fans sat down with dozens of Wednesday fans jumping up and down in the Hull end of the stadium And when Forestieri gets his 3rd goal?

New speed camera on Penistone Road?
rogets replied to the_mandarin's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
No I said the person should have been referred to a "person on a bike" rather than being referred to as a man that doesn't have a winkle as the poster said, even the thread title referred to the "person on bike" as a man without a winkle -

New speed camera on Penistone Road?
rogets replied to the_mandarin's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Might I ask why you can't simply drive at the speed limits? Then you won't need these devices On a A road like the A57 I drive at 40mph and yet I never encounter traffic jams ---------- Post added 23-05-2016 at 21:42 ---------- SO its fair to say if you hadn't been driving too fast you would not have been fined? Slow down then -

And might I ask why you have a devise that seems to tell you were speed cameras are? And might I assume you use these to avoid paying fines? -

EU Referendum - How will you vote?
rogets replied to Havanaclub's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
Don't vote for me, do me a favour and vote in IN Then stand on the white cliffs of dover growling at all the ships that come towards Dover. The Eu brings prosperity and jobs If we vote brexit then 3 million people are going to lose their jobs -
EU Referendum - How will you vote?
rogets replied to Havanaclub's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
I notice its the over 40s who want brexit. Well some of us young ones like the variety of parties that's offered if more people come into the UK, plus I like to be able to go to various countrys for my holidays so I like the concept of free movement Who wants to go back to the UK as it was back in the 1990s Farage is old Farage is inward looking What we need are young vibrant outward looking MPs who look to serve the needs of the majority, the ones who will bring house prices down and the ones who will increase the living wage to £10 an hour The time is not to pull up the drawbridge or be glaring of the white cliffs of Dover, now is the time to be welcoming everyone for a more tolerant, welcoming UK. -
No I went into the ticket office and paid cash
