I live in a new build house and im trying to encourage birds to visit my barren garden.Despite the snow,no birds are picking up the seeds I have put out! Any advice???

This is true gina! Anyways just for info ect.I live in a 2 bed house which is a new build.It has all eco mod cons i.e solar power for water/combie boiler/rads with the venty thing in the middle and got the lagging.Our duel fuel has just gone from £60 per mth to £72.This is to allow for the rise in fuel.Now some think that's pricey.Im not sure? But I know you pay a higher rate for a card/token meter.Could this be the cause of the high usage and cost?

I can never remember (1970s) getting sent home due to snow.I can remember a girl in my class returned, from going home to lunch,crying.The shoes (not wellies) she was wearing had holes in them,(poor family) and she had chill blanes and was in pain aged around 8 at the time.The dinner lady was almost in tears for her but come home time she toddled back home in the holy shoes.

I work with folk who managed to get to Sheffield from Scunthorpe/Chesterfield/Barnsley to work.We had one lass from Parson Cross and another from Wybourne rang saying they couldent make it! What a cop out!!!

A lot of factors creep in like the state of your boiler,or if you have single riadiators or loft lagging ect.It all goes to make a difference..
