  1. There's a Malaysian restaurant opening where Cubana used to be on Trippet Lane. Or at least I expect it will be with a name like Malaysian Delight...
  2. Not exactly specific to what you suggested but I also love The Handsome Family who recently got a bit of attention after providing the theme tune for True Detective.
  3. Ruined on cheeky vimto and looking for a scrap. He's fallen a long way since his death.
  4. I had an app like that for my phone too.
  5. The no right turn to Leppings Lane is ridiculous. All it does is make you queue for the roundabout twice, increasing the amount of traffic!
  6. Maps to the Stars - 7/10. Enjoyed it more than Cosmopolis and it's an enjoyable and dark look behind the scenes of Hollywood. Wish Cronenberg would bring back the body shock stuff though! ---------- Post added 09-10-2014 at 11:31 ---------- Gone Girl - 8.5/10. Great film, proper enjoyable. Try not to read anything about it, go in cold. Not read the book.
  7. I'd have gone with James O'Brien. He's great to listen to.
  8. He looks like Popeye after an overnight drunk and I hate his voice. His interview technique is awful.
  9. Of course it's the obvious answer, just a shame that the small community which had made that area a centre will get broken up.
  10. A real shame. Hope provision is made elsewhere for the artists that are housed round there.
  11. Whether it's in the rules or not, I think it's sad that he'd get booked for that. Nothing wrong with a bit of interaction with the fans in my book.
  12. The Machine - 6/10. British sci-fi flick. Had some good ideas I thought! I Origins - 6/10. A Really bizarre film and not easy to explain. If you do go see it, don't watch the trailer.
  13. Also on episode 11 and I'm enjoying it. More than Walking Dead to be honest.
  14. I don't like the original or John Wayne. I wasn't being pedantic, it's a new interpretation. The book is interesting because it's told entirely from the perspective of a 14-year-old.
  15. A Walk Among the Tombstones - 6.5/10. Better than I expected! Nothing new really but some good supporting characters at least. Ending is kinda pointlessly long though.
  16. He was and still is a massive Wednesday fan. He had a few problems in his early career, had to play a few games for Steels with a tag on his leg. I doubt he would've got to where he is now staying at Wednesday as he got on very well with Gary Marrow at Steels and this is what brought him on. He was still thinking of quitting football up until 18 months ago according to one report. So glad to see him do well.
  17. Why should they turn a blind eye just because people can't be bothered to plan their trip? Get a bus. Get a tram. Walk. Park further from the ground. Turn up earlier and park near the ground.
  18. In Order of Disappearance - 7.5/10. Enjoyable Norwegian black comedy.
  19. There was nothing wrong with the roundabout. It's an absolute disaster.
  20. Mate of mine said same thing happened on Yew Lane
  21. Lucy - 6/10. Looks great, doesn't really make any sense. Bit stupid in fact. Deliver Us From Evil - 6.5/10. Not as bad as I expected. More of a cop thriller than a possession film. Didn't get bored and pretty funny in parts too.
