Jeffrey Shaw
The cost ought to be about £250 + VAT + £50 expenses at HMLR. The entire exercise need take no longer than 2-3 weeks from start to finish. However, beware of Insolvency Act 1986 consequences.
vellatutchai
Anyone out there reccommend a good solicitor that doesn't charge an arm and leg for conveyancing. My family and I are going to live In another house and need to sell our current property. We are not buying another, just selling one.
Katie K
Although they are cheap I would not recommend Firth Lyndsay. We have recently bought a house where the seller used them as the conveyancer and they were very very slow, unhelpful and not always truthful. mrmw
We're first time buyers and might nearly be at the point where our offer is accepted (waiting with baited breath!). So it's time to start thinking about a solictor. Any recommendations anyone has would be a big help (on the flip side, feel free to mention those to avoid too!) Thanks Nick we were very UNHAPPY with the service received from Taylor & Emmett...
