Recommended Posts

I saw an advert saying there is a new store, has anyone been to it? Can't remember what it was called.

What is your opinion price wise on this place? I haven't yet been and contemplating going but if i go to a pet shop i can't leave without buying my furries a treat so I don't want to go and get ripped off!!

I'd be buying stuff for cats/dog/hamsters/rabbit/guinea pigs.

do you mean jollyes, staff were friendly but not pushy and prices were o.k, straw and hay not as cheap as wilkos but seemed o.k in general, good to be in a pet supplies shop and not have sad baby animals looking at me.

I have to say I only went once...

It's not bad, I just prefer pets at home - there's more people in there usually - good socialisation for Takara, there are more noises with the birds and rabbits etc. which, even though I dont' agree with them selling these animals, is also good for Takara.

Also, I found I couldn't take Takara into jollyes as when we went in, she kept trying to get the treats that had been left in open boxes on the floor within easy reach of a certain pink nose...

I prefer to buy my stuff from Woodseats Superpet.

I only go to Pets at Home/Jollyes if there is something I need that they don't have (which to be honest isn't all that often).

Their rabbit/guinea food is 99p per KG and they sell huge bags of straw/hay for £1.30 and wood shavings for £3.99....better than Wilko for the quantity you get!

I like to support small local business's too!!

:)

I don't buy food or anything like that from PAH, but when I need grooming products/toys or something specific like that - then I go there as it's got disabled parking.

I have always bought big items like food and beds etc from other places as I find PAH very expensive in those departments.
