Are you sure he wasn't laughing at the picture of Boris Johnson and his wife with wine, cheese, and no social distancing back in May 2020 when the rules were "between households limited to two people, who could only meet outdoors and at a distance of at least 2 metres."

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/dec/19/boris-johnson-and-staff-pictured-with-wine-in-downing-street-garden-in-may-2020

In those early days people were missing funerals and not able to say goodbye to dying relatives because of the rules that the Government laid out.

What a poor business model.

Send a personal message to Nigel Farage would raise more money.

He's been doing the video message thing for a while. Some people have been having the obvious fun with him - search for "nigel farage video message tricked" for examples.

Giving a bit of context to your claim might be helpful. Where did he say it? When did he say it? What did he say it about? Any links to a source? Otherwise people probably won't have a clue what you're talking about and will just answer "No".

If you are trying to argue "but Labour lost lots of votes in North Shropshire too" you need to keep in mind that Labour deliberately didn't put much effort into the North Shropshire by-election to give the LibDems a better chance of winning. Rather than thinking of that as a Labour weakness, you need to consider the implications for the Tories if the progressive parties start cooperating to keep the Tories out. After all, Labour might prefer to win seats off the Tories but it's still better for them if the LibDems or Greens win the seats rather than the Tories.

Trevor Phillips show on Sky. Yes Labour lost 12 thousand votes , why even enter the election if they weren’t bothered. What does that say to the voters who bothered to voteLabour.  Labour happy to lose if Tories lose . What a shame for their voters

Apparently, Starmer's made an important New Year’s speech?  Yes, everyone appears to have missed it?

Oh & he's offered a 'Contract with the British people.'   Did they learn nothing from the Miliband 'stone'?

You're gonna' have to squeak up a bit Starmer.  Either that or nobody was truly listening.
