I will add I don't think the authorities should investigate alleged historic crimes (20 years ago) with the exception of murder and rape where DNA evidence is available.  My personal opinion is that those who bring Savile into discussions are more likely to behave as he's alleged to then those who don't initiate discussions about him.

Yes absolutely.  Having read about various people claiming that we’re being ‘forced’ to mourn the Queen and that we are in some kind of lockdown today, I think there’s a few British people that might wake up and smell the coffee if they were to live in North Korea for a while.
