Thaw starting in Dronfield but looks very slow . Went sledging with grandkids yesterday was perfect conditions .Then into Gosforth clubhouse few pints of Guinness all was perfect then the owls had to spoil it .

It has settled where I am. Had hoped the snow was done until next Winter lol.

Settled in Birdwell, about 2" up to now.

In Sheffield there seemed to be about 1mm of snow first thing this morning; but rain soon arrived and removed it.

So that's alright then.

But I hear that Stocksbridge copped it bad.

i left my sisters at birdwell about 4.45 did'nt think it was that bad the further i got to home,deepcar (stocksbridge) the worse it got
