Just go's to show if you run an operation as dodgy as theirs you'll eventually catch heat from the authorities. Until the courts forced them to Uber was not giving drivers holiday pay, pensions or other workers’ rights. It has also been found to conduct insufficient criminal backround checks, failure to report serious criminal offences and use of software which prevents officials from regulation and enforcement against it's drivers. taxman Posted September 22, 2017 Share Posted September 22, 2017 If 3.5 million Londoners are using Uber surely Transport for London would be better off making sure there is a tighter regulatory process for Uber and making sure they follow it rather than just shutting them down altogether.
