bluecanary   13 #13 Posted July 13, 2017 What's a family friendly pie?  I interpreted this as a family friendly cafe/pub to eat pies, but I like the explanation of non-offensive pies much better.
 Share this content via...

jaffa1 Â Â 10 #15 Posted July 14, 2017 Maybe they wanted the thread to be family friendly, you know how pies can bring out the worst in people, I'm sick of seeing pie based violence and bad language. Â Yeh, what about a Sweeney Todd pie?. Â ---------- Post added 14-07-2017 at 22:31 ---------- Â I like Crawshaws meat and potato pie straight from the oven in the mornings at Hillsborough and for pork pies I know it's not Sheffield but Turners at Jump in Barnsley have got to be the best. FIRETHORN1 Â Â 59 #21 Posted July 19, 2017 Oops! Sorry if I put my foot in it about the source of Beres' and Wateralls' pork pies! I like them both equally and, to me, they taste very, very similar - so I was just speculating that they might - just might - be baked in the same place. I was clearly wrong about this and I and stand corrected! Â I praise them both though ... both Beres' and Waterall's do absolutely lovely , absolutely delicious pork pies....wherever they may bake them!
